je possède une procédure pour régler la jauge d'essence, vide, moitié et max.
Quelqu'un connait-il la procédure pour régler l'indicateur de température ? ( afficheur électrique )

Le plus simple est de plonger un thermomètre dans le col du radiateur et de comparer les valeurs relevées avec celles du thermomètre du tableau de bord. Il s' agit plus d' un étalonnage qu'un réglage. Sur les modèles 74 à systéme électrique, il doit y avoir un réglage interne au récepteur. As-tu fait une recherche sur le net avec la référence du galvanomètre?

Your Temperature guage has two terminals. One of them should go to the 10V Instrument regulator (Small metal tin with two connections). The other side goes via the sensor, a temperature dependant resistor, to ground. When the sensor gets hot it's resistance goes down, more current flows, and the gauge moves further up the scale. The first thing to check is that you have 10V on one of the two Temp Gauge terminals. If not you will have to trace the wire back to the regulator and find out why. If you have 10V, check the other terminal. If it also has 10V on it then the sender is not connected, faulty or the wire to it is open. You can check the gauge by momentarily shorting the sender tab to chassis. When you do this the pointer should move towards Hot pretty swiftly. Don't do this for too long. Check also the voltage on the sender unit. you will measure somewhat less than 10V. I have a graph of temperature against voltage somewhere. Finally check the voltage on the sender. If this is 10V then the sender is open or it is not grounded. Knowing you like PTFE tape, you may have inadvertantly insulated the sender by accident so check you have a short to chassis on the body of the sender. Having written all this it is probably the best place to start by checking the voltage right on the sender!!
