Bonjour, j'ai procédé à la maintenance du "crankcase breather" comme indiqué ici http://www.mgcars.org.uk/cgi-bin/gen5?r ... crank.html
Lors du remontage, j'ai mis le joint acheté chez MGOC avec un peu de graisse pour qu'il tienne et malgré un bon serrage j'ai toujours une fuite d'huile. Pourriez vous me conseiller une pâte de scellement adéquate pour procéder à une nouveau montage ? Ou l'acheter ? Faut il la mettre avec le joint ?

j'utilise de la "lowac perfect seal" commercialisé par restagraff
il existe plusieurs modèle de joint, en liège (cork), ceux en caoutchouc ont tendance à moins fuir, mais ça suinte toujours, il faut également changer la rondelle en caoutchouc qui se trouve derrière la rondelle du boulon de fixation

Chris Betsen chez Octarine nous conseil le modele liege peu epais. J'ai monte le mien avec du Hylomar bleu et 0 fuites.

Il faut absolument respecter le couple de serrage pour eviter de deformer la tole. Donc une bonne verification et eventuellement dressage de la tole avant montage.

Les modeles en caoutchouc que j'ai vu sont trop petit pour bien s'installer dans la gorge.
